Primarily a systems engineering company offering clients anything from full turnkey projects to only engineering specific aspects. For example, from design, through to development, installation and commissioning.

Initially established to provide electrical and mechanical engineering to local Shetland businesses. We have now completed multiple projects throughout the UK. Initially using specialist software we provided project work packages, and then assisted in developing successful tenders for other businesses. Consequently we have now also started offering specific lines to assist businesses build their capabilities so they win work.

Work has ranged from creating small diagrams for clients to building multimillion pound tender packages for government bids. Additionally, we now offer website design and development, along with domain name and account management. Assisting the customers we already serve, and anyone else who would like to try it out.

Latterly PPL have provided services for industrial, commercial and residential purposes, and also have experience in onshore and offshore. It is our experience that core engineering capabilities and laws of engineering are transferable between sectors. Additionally, we ensure any sector specific rules and regulations are adhered to.
